Studying the smallest components of the world’s biggest ecosystem

The Biller Lab is in interested in the systems biology of marine microbes.  We combine laboratory, computational, and field studies to decipher the mechanisms through which cells, and their underlying genes and genomes, interact with each other and their environment to shape community functions. The lab is especially interested in understanding the ecological functions of extracellular vesicles within the oceans

Position available!

The lab is currently recruiingt a new full-time research technician! Join us to work on a NSF-funded collaborative project investigating the role of bacterial extracellular vesicles within marine food webs. Details and application here!
