The Biller Lab: Studying the smallest microbes in the world’s biggest ecosystem

We are interested in the systems biology of marine microbes.  Our lab combines laboratory, computational, and field studies to decipher the mechanisms through which cells, and their underlying genes and genomes, interact with each other and their environment to shape community functions. Our work is particularly interested in understanding the ecological functions of extracellular vesicles within the oceans.

We’re hiring!
The Biller Lab is currently recruiting a postdoc interested in studying vesicle-mediated microbial interactions! Please check the ad for more details, and contact the PI with any questions.
